Step 1: Preparation & Sowing
🌱 Soil: Use loose, fertile, well-drained potting soil. Choose a seed tray or small pot with drainage holes.
💧 Prepare the seeds: Rinse the lemon seeds thoroughly, then soak them in lukewarm water for 6–8 hours.
🌰 Sow: Plant each seed about 1–1.5 cm deep, cover lightly with soil, and keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
☀️ Placement: Keep the pot in a warm, bright location. Avoid harsh direct sunlight until the seedlings emerge.
Step 2: Care & Support
✅ Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Place the pot in a warm, bright location at approximately 22–28°C. Once the seedlings emerge, provide 6–8 hours of sunlight daily and water whenever the top layer of soil begins to dry.
Step 3: Transplanting & Ongoing Care
✅ When the seedlings develop 4–6 true leaves, carefully transplant them into larger pots without damaging the roots.
💧 Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Keep the soil moist but never waterlogged.
